This Privacy Policy explains how PurpleHire Recruiting ("PurpleHire", "we", "us") handles information in connection with our recruiting services, candidate workflows, website, and internal business tools.

1. Information we process

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process information such as your name, contact details, professional profile, CV/resume, portfolio, employment preferences, correspondence, consent records, and other information you voluntarily provide for recruiting purposes.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide recruiting and sourcing services, manage candidate records, communicate with candidates and business contacts, evaluate potential role matches, maintain operational records, and improve our internal recruiting workflows.

3. Google user data and Google Drive access

PurpleHire uses Google services as part of its internal recruiting operations. Our internal application may access Google Drive through Google OAuth in order to create, upload, organize, retrieve, and manage recruiting-related files in the authorized PurpleHire Google account.

Google user data obtained through OAuth is used only to provide and operate these internal file-management functions. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or make it available to unrelated third parties. Access is limited to the purposes necessary to operate PurpleHire's recruiting workflow.

4. Storage and security

Information may be stored in services used by PurpleHire for recruiting operations, including Google Workspace/Google Drive and related internal systems. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

5. Sharing

We may share candidate information with prospective employers or recruiting partners when appropriate to the recruiting process and where there is a lawful basis or relevant consent to do so. We may also use service providers that process information on our behalf to operate our business. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the recruiting purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet applicable legal obligations. Information that is no longer required may be deleted or anonymized.

7. Your choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided to PurpleHire, request correction or deletion where applicable, or withdraw a consent previously provided, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate record-keeping needs.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, tools, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
